Groups are where we build relationships and grow together.
Wednesday Midweek Groups
Midweek groups are a chance to connect with others and grow in faith outside of Sunday.
MIDDAY BIBLE STUDY
Description: A relaxed, Scripture-focused Bible study designed for deeper learning and discussion during the day.
Meeting Schedule: Wednesdays 1:00-2:00 PM
EVENING ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Description:A midweek Bible study for adults focused on applying God’s Word to everyday life.
Meeting Schedule: Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 PM
TEEN BIBLE STUDY
Description:The CREW is our church’s teen ministry for ages thirteen through early college. We meet every Wednesday night. The time is relaxed and open, but it has purpose. We study God’s word together and talk about real life. We serve our community through planned projects. We also host learning events that help teens grow in faith and in practical skills. Trips throughout the year give space for connection, reflection, and fun. The goal is steady growth, honest conversation, and a place where teens can belong.

KINGDOM KIDS BIBLE STUDY
Description: Age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities in a fun and safe environment for children.

THE GATHERING
Description:The Gathering is a weekly space for men to build brotherhood, unity, and faith. We meet on Wednesdays at six to learn, talk, and support one another. Men can join at any time and are welcome to bring a friend. The goal is simple, to help men grow in Christ and walk together with honesty and strength.

Sunday Ministry Groups
Groups that meet on Sundays and focus on Bible study and discussion.
Adult Sunday School
Description: Bible based classes for adults focused on Scripture, discussion, and growing together in faith.
Classes Available: Adult ClassSenior Class
Meeting Schedule: Sundays at 8:45 AM
Kingdom Kids CHURCH, ages 5–12
Description: Kingdom Kids of Zion welcomes children ages 6 to 12 into a space where they can learn, grow, and discover who they are in Christ. Kids Church meets on the first, second, and third Sundays. Each gathering helps children build faith through teaching, worship, and connection. Wednesday Night Live meets every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Children explore the Bible in ways they can understand and enjoy time together through games and recreation. It is a place where faith becomes real and learning feels fun.

men of zion
Description: A men’s group focused on fellowship, encouragement, service, and spiritual growth. The Men of Zion Laymen League is dedicated to building strong men of faith through fellowship, discipleship, and service. Our ministry provides a space for men to grow spiritually, support one another, and mentor the next generation of young men in our church and community. Together, we strive to lead by example — in our homes, our church, and our community — as men committed to Christ. Meeting Schedule: Wednesdays nights and throughout the year
KINGDOM KIDS NURSERY
Our nursery is open every Sunday during worship service, providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children from infants through age 4. Staffed by trained, caring volunteers, our nursery team is committed to giving your little ones a warm and secure place to play, rest, and grow while you worship with peace of mind. We invite you to bring your children and join us — we'd love to care for them while you're here! Open each Sunday
women of zion
Description: A women’s group centered on connection, faith, and supporting one another in every season of life. Our Women's Missionary Union is dedicated to growing in faith while supporting missions work. Through prayer, fellowship, and hands-on service projects, the women of our church come together to support missions, give back to our community, and grow in their relationship with Christ. All women are welcome to join us as we serve together with purpose and love.
Meeting schedule: Second and fourth Monday, and throughout the year
recreation
Description: Our Recreation Ministry brings our church family together through basketball, volleyball, and a variety of games and activities for all ages. It's a fun and active way to build fellowship, create lasting friendships, and enjoy Christian community outside of regular services. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

young adults
Description:Trying to make sense of life, faith, and purpose. You do not have to walk that road alone. Our Young Adult Ministry brings together people ages 18 to 35 who want real connection and real growth. We talk honestly, study the Bible, ask hard questions, and build community through meaningful fellowship. Whether you are studying, working, rebuilding, or searching for direction, this ministry gives you a place to grow and move forward with Christ guiding the journey.

As you arrive, you'll be greeted by one of our friendly ushers, who are here to help make your visit comfortable and welcoming. They can assist you with finding a seat, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with a bulletin so you can follow along with today's service. Don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need — they're happy to help!
Golden hearts
Golden Hearts Ministry
The Golden Hearts Ministry is a fellowship and outreach ministry designed to encourage, engage, and celebrate senior adults within Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the surrounding community.Through fellowship, learning, and shared experiences, Golden Hearts provides opportunities for seniors to build relationships, stay active, and continue growing together. Golden Hearts meets on the first Saturday of each month and welcomes seniors who desire meaningful fellowship, enjoyable activities, and opportunities to remain connected with the church and one another.

kingdom Couples Ministry
Description:Kingdom Couples is all about building strong, God-centered marriages. Whether you’re newlyweds or seasoned in love, this ministry offers a space for married couples to grow together through fellowship, fun events, book studies, and real conversations. We cover everything from communication and finances to faith and family—because healthy marriages help build a strong church and community.
Meeting Schedule: Fourth Sunday and troughout the year
